Services for Betty (Shepherd) Womack, 65, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.Betty Jo Shepherd Womack, was born to the parentage ofthe late Eddie and Zona Jones Shepherd. Betty attended Dunbar High School in Lufkin, Texas. She had been employed at Memorial Hospital, PineCrest Assistant Living Center, and Stoneleigh Nursing Home in Food Service for over twenty seven plus years. Betty had been married to the late Donald Ray Womack Sr. for forty years. She joined O'Quinn Church of Christ at an early age. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. On May 2, 2019, Betty Jo Shepherd Womack departed this life in Houston, Texas. Left To Cherish Her Memories Her children, Donald R. Womack Il (Tonya) and Christopher Womack; Her grandchildren, Brondalynn Womack, Donisha Womack, Donald R. Womack Ill, Breahna Womack, Kristiana Womack, Dominique Womack, Chris Womack, Christopher Womack Jr. and Chey'Diamond Womack; Brothers, James Shepherd of Houston, Texas; Eddie Shepherd of Los Angeles, California, Aaron Shepherd (Jackie), Herbert Shepherd (LaShill) both of Houston, Texas and Mitchell Shepherd (Sharon) of Grand Prairie, Texas; Sisters, Bobbie Randall of Lufkin, Texas, Shirley Frazier of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rena Mathis of Lufkin, Texas, Deborah McKay (Kingsley) of Lufkin, Texas and Cheryl Johnson (Jesse) of Rowlett, Texas. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Zona Jones Shepherd; Husband, Donald Ray Womack Sr.; Brothers, Edward and Albert Shepherd.
