About Colonial Mortuary

We are proud to have served Lufkin and the surrounding areas for over 70 years, and we express our heartfelt gratitude for the trust families have placed in us throughout the years. Our extensive experience enables us to provide compassionate care to families from diverse backgrounds. Each family chooses us because we are recognized leaders in our field, committed to delivering exceptional service with integrity. We support families before, during, and after the loss of their loved ones, offering services tailored to their unique needs.

Having served the community for seven decades, we deeply understand what families seek in times of sorrow. Our focus is on delivering extraordinary service at affordable prices. We provide a range of options, including traditional funerals, cremation services, and celebration of life which is a fully customized service that suits your loved one personality facilitated by our in-house event planner.

Our facilities feature a beautiful spacious chapel, two staterooms, a refreshment kitchen, and a lounge area. We strive to make you and your family comfortable when you choose our family business. 

Our team includes an insurance specialist ready to discuss the best options for your family, whether it involves life insurance or pre-need insurance. If you purchased a pre-need plan from another funeral home and need/want to use our facilities we welcome you to do so.
