Service for Aaron Hill, 69, of Lufkin will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday March 18, 2023, at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 920 N. Raguet St., Cremation under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
Aaron "Peaches" Hill was born on June 5, 1953, to the late Abe and Ardie Hill in Lufkin, Texas.
Aaron was born the fifth child of 10 siblings. He had a colorful and exciting childhood and enjoyed sports and family. He was a delight at all the family gatherings. Peaches attended Dunbar High School and Lufkin High School. He was a member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He attended church faithfully until his demise.
Aaron had been employed by Angelina Hardwood Mill, Texas foundry and Pilgrim Pride. He married Mary "Mack" Hill and to this union two children were born. Later he joined Julia Faye Johnson-Hill, and to this union one child was born.
On March 9, 2023, Aaron "Peaches" Hill departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.

Sons, Gerald Mack of Lufkin, Texas and Mario Hill of Beaumont, Texas; A daughter, Angela Mack of Lufkin, Texas; Brother, Irie Hill; Sisters, Charlene Hill-House (L.D.) of Lufkin, Texas; Dewan Hill McGee (Jerry) of Houston, Texas and LA Candy Hill of Lufkin, Texas; Eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.; A Special friend, Tyronia Burt of Lufkin, Texas.
Aaron was preceded in death by: His parents, Abe and Ardie Hill; Brothers, Travis Hill and Kenneth Hill; Sisters, Carolyn Brunette Hill and Gwendolyn Hill-Bradford.
