Services for Addie Laverne Boston, 50, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Mrs. Boston was born November 24, 1972 in Lufkin and died August 12, 2023 in Lufkin.
Addie Laverne was born on November 24,1972 to Jessie Boston, and Ray Charles Boston.
Addie attended public school in Diboll, Texas, from primary to high school. Church was in her heart. She was the baby girl of the family. She loved to be outdoors. She loved to swim. She was an excellent swimmer and superb softball player. She was a passionately skilled hairstylist. One of her favorite sayings was "Ain't That Right!" She loved listening to Shirley Caesar. Addie Laverne worked many years for Garden Highway Foods and Frank Roofing Company.
She loved her family and growing up she loved softball, music, and doing hair. Addie Laverne was married to Ernie Frost. She had five boys and two girls. T.J. Rogers, Marzell Frost, Xavier Perkins, Aishajohun Jones, Cedarion Harden, Desiree Perkins and Mercedes Roberts.
Addie was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Frost and her son Marzell Frost.
Grandmothers: Calzatia Poole and Ebel Anderson. Grandfathers: Bossier Boston and Roy Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sisters; Michele Boston, Ethel Boston and Felicia Boston Young; brother; Ray Boston Jr.; grandchildren; London (boobaby), Journey, Dynasty, Royal and Anaiylah, Zay, Jazion, Jabaez, Adrian, Kayden, Apple,Tyrus, Cedric, Adriel and Trevor and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, and cousins.
Long-time friends: Sonya,Willie Jean, Precilla, Cynthia and Frank Williams
Cremation under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
