“Do not let your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1
Adline Remo-Jernigan was born in Bermuda, Louisiana on April 27, 1943. At an early age, she accepted the call to be numbered among the saints of God when she was baptized at St. Augustine Baptist Church in Melrose, Louisiana. Adline had a wonderful childhood with her siblings, and she later graduated from St. Matthews High School. Adline continued to live in Natchitoches, Louisiana, until she married Willie Jernigan on June 18, 1988, when they moved to Lufkin, Texas. Adline later became the First Lady of “World Outreach Ministries” led by her husband Reverend Willie Jernigan. Adline continued her Christian services through the church and the community. Adline continued to live her life to the glory of God. Through His glory shining on her, she was an example of a virtuous woman. As stated in Proverbs 31:10-11, “Her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her.”
Adline continued to minister to the sick and shut-in, fed the hungry, and put her hands to work wherever needed. Above everything, Adline demonstrated her absolute love for God and her family. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
“ Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me. Psalms 23:4
