Algianon Moses Jeffero's Obituary
Services for Algianon Moses Jeffero, 85, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Missionary Baptist Church, 410 Scarbrough St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. till time of services at the Church.
On the 17th day of November Aldianon Moses Jeffero, Sr. was born to the parentage of the late Bill and Luberta Jeffero in Huntsville, Texas.
He was a dedicated husband, loving father of four children: A daughter and three sons, one preceding him in death. Moses was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in Huntsville, Texas. He then attended Prairie View A&M College where he received a Bachelor and Masters Degree. He taught School in Littlefield, Texas, where he was Head Coach of the football team. Mr. Jeffero also taught at AG Temple High School as a Agriculture Teacher in Diboll, Texas, and also served as the Assistant Principal. He also served as a Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America for 29 years. Moses was also an substitute teacher at Dunbar High School in Lufkin, Texas, and as a Para Professional for the Special Education Department. He also served on the Chamber of Commerce and was once president. He was self employed as a Income Tax Preparer for many years. His livelihood also consisted of his induction into the Prairie View Football Hall of Fame.
Mr. Jeffero married Edrine Fisher on June 25, 1954 the marriage lasted for sixty four years until his demise. He was a member of Community Baptist Church under the leadership of the Pastor, Reverend Leroy Thompson. He will be greatly missed by his family and dear friends.
On December 13, 2018, Aldianon Moses Jeffero, Sr. departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.

His wife of sixty four years, Edrine Fisher Jeffero of Lufkin, Texas; Children, daughter, Rhonda Jeffero Graham (Tommie) of Houston, Texas; Sons, Dr. Algianon Moses Jeffero, Jr. of Cleveland, Tennessee (Nicole), Drake Ashlan Jeffero (Victoria) of Humble, Texas; Grandchildren, Elias, Asia, David and Lillie Jeffro, Josea Hernandez, Monique Buentello, Gabrielle Gonzales, Mariah Nguyen and Marcos Fiscus, Carlos Fraham, Tommie Graham, Jr., Tyrone Graham, Pamela Solomon, Prenceller Bradley, Tonya Johnson, Morgan, Matthew, Benjamin, Sheldon Jeffero, Cinnamon, Shanteria Jeffro, Ashley Haynes and Kortney Lavergne; Sister, Mary D. Smith (James) of Washington, D.C.; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
