Service for Mrs. Annie Davis Beasley, 70 of Houston will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 28,2023, at New Jerusalem Christian Center, 1867 Old Mill Rd, Lufkin. Burial will follow in the Forest Haven Cemetery. Mrs. Beasley was born on January 29,1953, in Hemphill Tx, and died on Sunday, September 17,2023 in Webster, TX.
Annie Jean was born to the late Rosevelt Duffield and Myrtbe Davis Duffield on January 28, 1953, in Seguin, Texas.
She is preceded in death by: Her sister, Robbie Neal Duffield; Niece, Lynette Dallas; Nephew, David Willison, Jr., aka.Ted; Brothers, Arthur Roy Davis, John Wade Wilkerson and Wade Oliphant, Jr.; Husband, Clarence Rudy Beasley, Sr; Son, Clarence Rudy Beasley, Jr.; Granddaughter, Jessica Cowin.
Mother Annie Jean Beasley known to so many as "Anna," accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age for she truly loved the Lord with all her heart and exemplified Christian principles throughout her life. Mother Beasley loved to "Praise the Lord" in good and bad times.
In 1972, under the leadership of her brother-in-law, the late Bishop Clay Beasley, Mother Annie joined "Church of God in America," in Danville, Kentucky, under the late Bishop Beasley Pastoralship. Mother
Beasley was ordained and given licenses in the following areas in the church as Minister, Evangelist, Teacher, and Mother of the church. In the early 1970's, Mother Beasley returned to Texas and joined Triumph The Church and Kingdom of God in Christ," in Houston, Texas, under the leadership of her uncle...the late Rev. A.G. Duffield. In the late 90's, Mother Beasley moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and joined "Greater New Jerusalem Temple of Truth," under the leadership of Bishop Herman Davis, where she was an active member. In the 2000's, Bishop Davis honored her with the title. National Mother of Greater New Jerusalem Temple of Truth in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she served faithfully as "National Mother," until her health required her to return home to a warmer climate environment. Under Bishop Davis, she discovers the teaching of the Jewish Israelites. Yahweh our Heavenly Father and Yeshua our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In June 2014, Mother Annie Jean Beasley found a watch care church home under the leadership of her beloved Pastor's and friends, Pastor Vernon Austin and his lovely wife, Dr. Nell Austin of New Jerusalem Christian Center in Lufkin, Texas. Pastor Austin and wife, Dr. 1st Lady Austin took Mother Beasley under their wings and spiritually formed a special bond of love and friendship, that was blessed from up above.
Mother Annie Jean Beasley received her GED and in 1996, graduated from University of Kentucky receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She worked for the State of Kentucky for over 10 years and received many rewards for an outstanding job in her position as a Social Worker, Counselor, and Teacher. Mother Beasley also received and Associate Degree in Medical Billing and worked in that field for several years before becoming a Business Owner. She was owner of two successful businesses. Capital State Mortgage Company and a Restaurant named "Manna from Anna." Mother Beasley returned to Texas and worked with school age children in the School System under the Foster Grandparents Programs in Lufkin, Texas for over five years.
