Arie Lee Whitaker, was born on January 5, 1950, to the parents of David Lee and Lola Bell Whitaker. Arie Lee received her wings on March 26th, 2023, and went to walk with the angels. She was 73 years old.
Arie Lee spent many years working as a Head Cook at many Nursing Homes. Her passions and hobbies included sewing, fishing, and gardening. She found great joy in making pillows and blankets for all of the grandchildren. Ms. Whitaker is known around town and in the community for sewing pillows, blankets, and quilts for others. One of the most important things in her life was gardening, and she took great pride in her flowers and plants. Gardeners are special people. She would give her opinion without flinching or apology, but she never dismissed you from your choice, and always welcomed you home when it didn't work out. Family and grandchildren were what she enjoyed the most in life.
