Services for Barbara Gordon, 77, of Diboll will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Shiloh Baptist Church, 100 Pine St., Diboll, TX. Burial follow in the Diboll Cemetery. Viewing will be from
10:00 a.m. till time of services at the church.
Mrs. Barara Jean Bussey-Gordon, was born on September 10, 1940 in Diboll, Texas, to the late Evadell and Ulysess Bussey Sr.
She united with Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age. Barbara attended H.G. Temple Jr. Sr. High School graduating with the Class of 1957. She united in Holy Matrimony to Elliott Gordon Jr. In May of 1960. Although she spent many years as a housewife, she was employed by Holiday Inn and maintained a Lawn Service for many years.
On August 2, 2018, Barbara J. Bussey-Gordon departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.

Barbara was preceded in death by: Her parents, Evadell and Ulysses Bussey, Sr.; Sister, Francis Ruth Gipson; Brothers, Ulysses Bussey, Jr. and Jennie Bussey (AKA Fessor); Grandparents, Finis and Bessie Henderson, John and Lena Freeman.
