The funeral service for Belinda Jackson Skief, 64 of Lufkin will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2024, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Skief was born on May 8, 1960, and died in Houston on Friday, December 20, 2024.
Belinda Kay Jackson-Skief was born on May 8, 1960, in Lufkin, Texas, to the late Charlie and Mary Jackson.
Belinda was a loving and caring individual, who loved having fun and interacting with her family. She was with her loving husband, Jerry for forty-two (42) years. They enjoyed rearing their two sons. Everyone loved being around her because of her joyful spirit. She loved her sons dearly and was a bright light in the eyes of her nieces and nephews.
On December 20, 2024, Belinda Kay Jackson-Skief, made her transition from her earthly life to her heavenly home.
Belinda was preceded in death by: Her father, Charlie E. Jackson, Sr.; Mother, Mary A. Jackson; Brothers, Charlie Jackson, Jr., and Terry Jackson; Sisters, Janette Taylor and Geneva Alexander.
Survivors: Her husband, Jerry Skief; Two sons, Marlon Jackson, and Delvin Jackson; Brothers, Jerry (Marilyn) Jackson, Jimmy (Alice) Jackson, Marilyn Jackson, Arnetter (Richmond) Johnson, and Rita Jackson; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a best friend, Deanne Garrett.
