Funeral services for Mr.Ben Raymond Smith are scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ben Raymond Smith was born on December 10, 1953, to the parentage of the late Ben and Willie Mae Smith in Mississippi.
At an early age the family relocated from Mississippi to Lufkin, Texas. He was religiously affiliated with West End Church of God in Christ. Raymond enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family. He had been employed at Lufkin Industries until his health began to fail him.
On November 15, 2019, a quiet and peaceful life came to a close for Ben Raymond Smith in Lufkin, Texas.
Raymond is preceded in death by: His parents, Ben and Willie Mae Smith; Two brothers, Eddie Lee Smith and Robert Lee Banks; His grandparents, Robert and Irene Alexander.
