Bernice Caldwell's Obituary
Funeral services for Ms. Bernice Caldwell, 95 of Lufkin will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Ms. Caldwell died on Monday, December 28,2023, in Lufkin.
Sister Bernice Caldwell, was born on July 14, 1929 to the parentage of the late Willie B. Henson.
Upon relocating from Nacogdoches, Texas to Lufkin, Texas, she became a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful, dependable, and a loving Missionary Sister.
Her livelihood consisted of working and caring for patients at the Lufkin State School. The staff loved for her to help keep their clients because, she was a sweet and kind person. She had been employed there as a Foster Grandparent. As her health began to fail, she had to move to Southland Living Center in 2014.
On December 25, 2023 (Christmas morning), a peaceful life came to a close at 9: 15 a.m. in Lufkin, Texas. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
