Services for Mrs. Berta Durham, 85, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Berta Mae Durham was born on August 10, 1938, to the late Luten and Roberta Bell of Huntington, Texas.
Berta resided in Huntington, Texas most of her life, and attended Public School in Huntington. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and united with the Pilgrim Home Baptist Church of Huntington, Texas. She later relocated to Lufkin, Texas and married the love of her life, Leroy Durham. They were married for 31 years. She united with the Mt. Calvary Church in Lufkin, Texas where she remained until her demise.
On November 5, 2023, Berta Mae Durham departed this life in Lufkin, TX.

Her loving and devoted husband, Leroy Durham; Her blended family; Sons, Chris Durham Sr. (Beatrice), Zachery Durham, Calvin Durham, Leroy Durham Jr. (Mary); Daughters, Neva Durham-Spikes, Rhonda Durham, Buchanan and Nicole Durham; Her loving sister, Alberta Johnson and a wealth of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
