Funeral services for Brenda Brown, 53, of Lufkin Texas will be held on May 23, 2020 at 1 p.m., in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday May 22, 2020 from 7 p.m, till 9 p.m., in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel.

She was born on October 17, 1966 to Lula Mae Brown in Lufkin, TX. She attended Lufkin High SchooJ and graduated class of 1986. Brenda dedicated her Jjfe to Christ at an early age, later actively served at Woods Memorial Church. She provided health care services for over thirty years until she was no longer able to. Her hobbies were singing, watching CNN, getting dolled up by wearing her "Lipsticks and Eyelashes". Most of all she enjoyed spending time and creating memorable moments with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her mother Lula Mae Brown (Lufkin, TX).
Her children, daughter Y-Mekia Brown Matthews ( Leo Matthews) Beaumont, daughter Trakeesha Brown (Lufkin, TX), Son Jer-Mikel Brown (Lisa Brown) Lufkin, TX, and daughter Ashley Brown (Lufkin, TX) Nephew- Da LCedric Brown Pope, Niece- Mia Brown (Lufkin, TX)
Siblings: Brother- Micheal Brown (California), Wesley Reggie (San Antonio, TX), Sister- Andrea Brown (Lufkin, TX) and Jackie Reggie (San Antonio, TX)
Grandchildren- Heaven Caldwell, Shaderian Caldwell, Tyl Kiece Bagley, Journey Caldwell, and Khoi Turner.
Special Niece- Maddison Hamilton
Special Friends- Rhonda Porter, Maddian Washington, Kathy White, and Annette White.
She had a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brenda Brown was proceeded in death by father Andrew Guidry, Arther Reggie. Grandparents Amos Brown and Leola Trotter Brown. Aunts: Gracie Morris, Jewel Davis, Clara Badgett. Uncles: E.T. Brown and Joe Lewis Brown Cousin Geretha Brown.
