Brenda Joyce Gross' Obituary
Services for Brenda Gross will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Alto. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5 - 7 p.m..
Brenda Joyce Gross was born July 18, 1941 in Alto, Tx. to the late Homer and Mary Mickey. She
was the third born of eleven children. While growing up in Alto, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and became a member of St. Thomas Chapel A. M. E. Church. She
enjoyed singing praises to the Lord.
Mrs. Gross was a longtime residence of San Antonio and passed away December 22, 2013 in Lufkin.
She leaves behind two children, Byron Gross and Alicia Dina Butler, four sisters and four brothers, plus a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isador Gross, parents, one sister and one brother.
