Services for Brenda Gail Jones,63, of Lufkin will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, 1519 Williams St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Ms.Jones was born November 29, 1955 in Lufkin and died June 1Brenda Gail Jones was born November 29, 1955 in Lufkin Texas. She was the second born to the union of Johnny Jones and Veneal "Sue" Flenoy, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her father,Dudley Reginald Flenoy (Skinny). Brenda grew up and attended public school in Lufkin. She graduated from Lufkin High School Class of 1975.
She was united with the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church early in life, where she was a mission sister for numerous years.
Brenda worked as a Unit Secretary at Memorial Hospital - Lufkin, before beginning her loyal employment with Walmart Supercenter (Lufkin) for 29 years. Brenda's loving and kind heart was always going the extra mile to selflessly serve those she loved. She enjoyed the company of her family and those she cherished most.
Brenda departed this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
