Bryant Davis' Obituary
Service for Mr. Bryant Davis, 62 of Diboll will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Mr. Davis died on Monday, February 2,2024, in Lufkin.
Bryant Keith Davis was born to the late Ed Ben Davis and Lillian Perry Davis in Lufkin Texas on August 2, 1961. He spent his formative years in the country in school and learning to be a skilled tradesman. He also worked as a mechanic and a logger with his late brother Eddie. Growing up in the country, he became a jack of all trades. He later moved to Dallas in 2011 where he worked many jobs as a handyman and mechanic. He later met his life partner and moved to Houston in 2012. He was a caring best friend, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and grandfather. He loved helping others and kept us laughing!
He told many stories of his life growing up near Honey Island. He always had a smile on his face no matter what! He loved go ing places, and most of all, visiting and checking on his friends and family. He made sure he called and checked on his siblings, children, other family members, and as many friends, as often as possible. Where there was sadness, he brought happiness, where there was crying, he brought laughter. He was well-known and received by many throughout Texas. On February 12, Bryan Keith transitioned to Everlasting Life. He spent his last days serv ing his family and his community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Eddie Joe, Billy Roy, Willie Lee, Billy Ray, Chester Lee, and sisters Sarah Davis and Debra Whitmill. He is survived by his best friend and significant other, Lola Logan (Diboll), sisters Lillian Mitchell (Tyler) and Ardella Davis (Dallas), . brother Theodore Davis (Lufkin), daughters Brandy Davis (Tyler), Shea Moye (Lufkin), sons Bryant Davis (Alexa)-(Houston), Tyrone Davis (Nicole)-(Lufkin),Brant Davis (Amarillo), Marvin Canada (Felecia)- ' (Diboll), 16 grandchildren, an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other thoughtful and caring relatives and dear friends throughout Texas.
