I worked with Mrs. Pierre at Jr. High East from 1994-96. I was blessed to teach next door to her. Over all these years I remember her calm demeanor her ability to roll with whatever was going on. She told me that everything in education came full circle to not stress over changes. I was writing about my first year teaching experience and how I didn't have an assigned mentor yet was blessed to teach beside Mrs. Pierre. So I looked her up online and that is how I found that she passed on in January of this year. I am so sad to learn that she is no longer with us. She was a jewel of a lady and touched so many lives.
