Service for Mrs. Carolyn Gene McCloud,60,of Corrigan will be held Saturday
December 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Youngblood Memorial Fellowship Holiness Church, 1100 Colita Ave., Livingston, TX. Burial will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, TX. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till time of services at the church.
Carolyn Gene McCloud, the baby sister of four brothers, was born in Crockett, Texas on October 3, 1959 to the late Roosevelt Jolly Sr., and Annie Lee Brown Jolly.
She received her formal education from Corrigan-Camden High School, a graduate with the Class of 1978. She went to Beauty School now days known as Cosmetology School, and became a Cosmetologist. She opened a shop in Corrigan, Texas and styled hair. This was something that she dearly loved. She was also a CNA and a Substitute Teacher. Carolyn fell in love with and married James Spencer McCloud. They were married for thirty five years and had three beautiful children. Carolyn was quiet. caring, and loving, all around GOOD woman. To know her was to love her. She loved to laugh, dance, be silly, and have a good time. She was constantly battling being ill and restricted at times. But through it all, she was a tough cookie.
On December 5, 2019, Carolyn McCloud departed this life at home in Corrigan, Texas.
