Memorial service for Carrie McClain,63 of Lufkin will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel..Cremation is under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
Carrie Lee Walker was born on March 9, 1959 to Candle Lee Adams in Lufkin, Texas. Her nickname was "Tiny" because of how small she was at birth. She graduated from Dunbar High School. She also attended Tyler Junior College for some time also. She gave birth to 3 beautiful children. After having children she worked for some time in healthcare as a caretaker and also worked at Woodland Heights Hospital for a number of years.
She loved God and served as a Faith Servant in church for most of her life. Currently a member at New Zion Temple of Deliverance. Under the Leadership of Bishop C. T. Olford.
She is preceded in death by her son, Curtis Lee Campbell and her husband of 15 years Mr. Elbert Walker
She leaves to cherish memories her two kids, Donnell Campbell and Malissie Lynn Adams also Mantice Agnew who she loved and treated like her own child, her three grandkids, Xavion Brown (Kichuna), Maryah
Hill, and Jeremiah Hill, Amaiyah Walker, Jeremiah Walker, Lailani Tyra, Za'Corian Walker and a greatgrand baby, Kaylani Scott.
