Charles Bradley's Obituary
Services for Charles Bradley, 54, of Alto, TX. will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the New Hope Baptist Church, Hwy 69 North, Alto, TX. Burial will follow in the New Center Prospect Cemetery in Pollok, TX. Visitation is Friday from 6 - 8 p. m. at the funeral home.
Charles Bradley, affectionately called, "Sony Boy" was born to the parentage of the late Roy Lester Bradley and Mary Ethel Monroe on July 23, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas.
He accepted Christ at a young age and attended Wells Chapel Church in Wells, Texas. Charles was reared in Wells, TX. where he attended the Wells Independent School District, and was a graduate of Wells High School with the Class of 1979. He had been joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Margaret Gasaway on December 13, 2009. His livelihood consisted of fishing, riding motorcycles, serving as a D.J. and he was an avid cook at preparing barbeque. Charles also loved to spend quality time with his family and friends, especially with his loving grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors: daughters, Shiree Lathan (Larry) of Dallas, TX., Lashuna Gasaway of Alto, TX. and Monica Porter of Houston, TX.; grandchildren, Milan, Elijah, Niyah, Ja'Kayla and Dameon; brother, Roy E. Bradley, Cleveland C. Bradley and Roger of Wells, TX.; sister, Angela D. Robertson and Barbara Bradley of Lufkin, TX.; uncles, Cleophus Beans of Wells, TX. and Morris Bradley of Albion,
Michigan.
