Memorial services for Chonda Williams Diaz, 47, of Diboll will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Church by Christ Jesus,100 Beech St., Diboll, TX.
Chonda was born to Kenneth Green and Bobbie Phipps in Lufkin, Texas on August 4, 1977.
Chonda was raised in Diboll, TX. She then gained her Bonus Dad, Daniel Phipps. She was a member of The Church by Christ Jesus Diboll, TX.: Chonda attended school at Diboll and Lufkin ISD. After graduating, Chonda attended Starr College, received her cosmetology license, and opened her own salon. Chonda then became a peace Officer which was her passion.
Chonda met her husband, Omar Santil Diaz, in 2018. They married on April 4, 2019, until her death on January 17, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Green; Grandparents, Edward and Laquata Williams, Carl Green, BB, and Mary Lee Phipps; sister, Jasmine Phipps; and brother-in-love, Keith Robins.
Cremation under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
