Christie McClure's Obituary
Graveside services for Christie Diane (Harrison) McClure, 44, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at I:00 p.m. with Brother John Williams officiating, at Jonesville Cemetery in Huntington, TX.
Christie was born December 26, 1980, in Lufkin, TX to Donnie and Judy (Griffin) Harrison, and passed away on February 6, 2025, in San Augustine, TX, after a 10-year courageous battle with Huntington's Disease.
Christie was a 1999 Graduate of Lufkin High School and graduated in the top 15 percent of her class. She served as Class Council for 3 years, Academic Decathlon 3 for years, participated in UIL for 3 years, and was a 3-year member of FHA.
Christie loved spending time with her family, reading, camping, music, and genealogy research. She has researched both sides of her family genealogy back to the very beginning of her family's ancestry and was always eager to share her findings.
Christie worked as a CNA briefly before staying home and caring for her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Shelby McClure of Wells, TX, Katie McClure of Hemphill, TX, her son, Ashton McClure of New Caney, TX, and a host of family and friends.
She is processed in death by both parents, her brothers David and Charlie Harrison, and her grandparents Morris Ray and Mary Alice (Sharp) Harrison, Joe and Edna (Shuemaker) Griffin.
The pallbearer will be her beloved son, Ashton McClure.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Colonial Pines Nursing Home and Harbor Hospice for the love and care given to Christie during the last stages of her illness.
