Connie Rast's Obituary
Memorial services and visitation for Connie Rast, 55, of Diboll will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the memorial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Burke Baptist Church, 3855 Tidwell Rd., Diboll, TX. with Bro. Ricky Pressley officiating. Connie was born December 7, 1959 in Lufkin, TX. to Bobby and Sue Chandler and passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the Hospice in the Pines facility. Connie was a long time resident of Diboll and married to her soul mate Earnest Rast. She was employed with the Katherine Sage Temple Day Care where she helped raise many children. She loved gardening, reading and just spending time with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Earnest Rast of 38 years of Diboll, father and mother, Bobby and Sue Chandler Sr. of Diboll, sister and brother in laws, Tracy (Sidney) Murray,
Leslie (Rickey) Stubblefield, brother and sister in laws, Bobby (Stephanie) Chadler Jr., and Ray (Ashley) Bourgeois, sister in laws Diane Rast, Wanda Hance, Rosemary Williams and Arlene Rast,
numberous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, other extended family and a multitude of friends.
The family wishes to thank Hospice in the Pines staff for the excellent care, concern and compassion shown to us in this difficult time.
