Cosandra Robinson's Obituary
Service for Cosandra Robinson,73, of Lufkin is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Woods Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ at 230 Leech St, Lufkin Tx. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m.at Woods Memorial Temple Church of Christ.
Mrs. Cosandra Robinson was born on September 22, 1949, to the parentage of the late Ell Brown and Jessie Brown in Lufkin, Texas.
Cosandra was affectionately called "Shug," by her family and friends. She received her formal education from the Lufkin Independent School District, graduating from Dunbar High School with the Class of 1968. Cosandra accepted Christ at Zion Temple CÖGIC, under the leadership of the late Elder Woods. She later was a member of Woods Memorial Temple COGIC, under the leadership of the late Spt. Chester Robinson. She also served as the Church Secretary.
Cosandra's livelihood consisted of her love for arts and crafts, she was an avid seamstress, worked as a Social Worker and loved to direct weddings. Other hobbies included, baking, cooking, and traveling. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
On December 24, 2022, Cosandra made her transition from her Earthly Home to her Eternal Home.
Cosandra was preceded in death by her parents, Ell and Jessie Brown, A brother, Elbert Ell Brown, and sister, Linda Sue Jones.
Left to cherish her memories: a Son, Roy Robinson of Lufkin, Texas; Daughters, Lysandra (Kevin) Lawton of Houston, Texas; Katherine (Myron) Pope of Kennard, Texas, Jessica (James Hall) of Huntington, Texas; Grandchildren, Darius Richards, Myrick Pope, Ma 'Kyron Pope, Alyssa Richards, Ma' Kerra Pope and Isaac Hall. A wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
