Services for Delouise Piercefield, 66, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2022, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Piercefield died Friday, October 28, 2022, in Lufkin. Mrs. Piercefield was born on October 10, 1956, in Crockett, TX, and died on Friday, October 28, 2022, in Lufkin, Tx. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Delousie Dishman-Piercefield, was born to the parentage of the late Willie D. Dishman and Elousie Wiley in Houston County, Texas.
Delousie was of Baptist Faith and attended the Baptist Churches. She received her formal education from the Crockett Independent School District. Delousie had been employed at Memorial Hospital as a Dietician and later was employed by Coleman Healthcare in Cypress, Texas working as a Home Provider. Delousie was known as the Family Monarch. She was the one to prepare the food, and most of all the family events were held at her residence. She was an avid cook, she loved singing, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Delousie was a Caregiver to Alice Armstead and Loretta Butler. She was considered just like a mother to: Iyuna and Eric White, Malakai and Messiah Griffith. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
On October 28, 2022 a quiet and peaceful life came to a close for Delousie Piercefield.
