Services for Donna Sue (Jones) Clifton, 50, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 2:00 p. m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Berry Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.Donna Sue Jones Clifton was born on July 26, 1968 in Lufkin, Texas to the parentage of Mable Jean Matthews and Billy Frank Jones.
She had been employed as a brick layer. Her religious affiliation was with the Baptist Church and she attended Still Water Cowboy Church in Huntington, Texas. Donna Sue's livelihood consisted of her love for camping, hunting, fishing, cooking, riding horses and her special love for her dog (Little Bit). She had a heart of gold, sharing with others and never meeting strangers.
On August 15, 2018, Donna Sue Jones Clifton departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
She is survived by: A daughter, Mamie Nicole Jones of Rusk, Texas; grandson, Clive Kelly Jones; Granddaughter, Neve Lee Jones; Son, Lewis Frank Jackson; Twin sister, Rhonda Lee Thompson Sister, Myrtle (Leonard) Hills, Lisa Bradford (Danny) ; Brother, David Earl Hopson; Niece, Crystol Mars; Uncle, Eddie Jones ofNacogdoches, Texas; Nephews, Greg Bush, Gary Bush, Craig Bush, Lorne and Aubrey Bail; Many other nephews, nieces, cousins; Many stepchildren, and other relatives and friends.
