Marie, as many called her, attended Dunbar High School. She worked as a unit secretary on K4 at Memorial Hospital for over thirty plus years.
Marie had two children prior to her union to Bishop Cleo Hale which, Bishop Hale raised as his own.
She was married to Bishop Cleo Hale for over sixty years and to their union were born three children. She was blessed to be "Granny" to a blended family with multiple grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Marie loved the Lord and dedicated her life to Him at an early age. Through her love for God, her husband's life was changed, and they both served God faithfully, together for over fifty years.
What a blessing to have such a solid foundation. At Outreach Ministry she served as the church secretary, mother, musician, missionary and loved cooking and helping people. Her house was open to many people whenever they needed a place to stay, and there wasn't anything she could not do once she put her mind to it.
