Services for Eddie D Hale, 66 of Huntington will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Warren Temple, 405 S. Warren St, Lufkin. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Cemetery in Huntington.
Mr. Eddie Hale was born on November 27, 1956, to Jessie and Evelyn Hale in Lufkin Texas.
Eddie was raised in Huntington; Texas and he attended school in Huntington.
Eddie had been employed by several different Jogging contractors. He was considered to be one of the best skidder drivers in east Texas. He was a hard worker and provided for his family. His health diminished. He loved to dress up sharp as a tack starch and iron jeans boots and cowboy hat. And he didn't even own or ride a horse. He loves looking at the western shows on tv. And sit outside his apartment with a coke and cigarettes He also sit at the bus stop and watch the traffic pass by and waved at all that came by. That's where he got his exercise at too walking to the bus stop every day. As Eddie health diminished, he had a saying "I'm a RICH MAN I been a rich man a-long long time:'
Eddie was preceded in death by his father Jessie Hale Jr; His brother, Don Keithley Hale.

Special Nieces-T.B.S., Special friends Mr. Edward Cauley, Mr. Eddie Peters, and residents at First Huntington Arms Apts. Where he lived for 43 years. His sister Brenda was his apt manger for 20
years. (l wanted to give him a rent violation every month, but he managed to get by.)
