Services for Eddie Mitchell, 58, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden .
Mr. Eddie DeWayne Mitchell was born on December 17, 1964, to the parentage of the late Eddie Levon Mitchell and Elouise Mitchell.
Eddie attended Lufkin High School and graduated with the Class of 1984. His favorite football team was the New Orleans Saints.
Eddie worked at several jobs during his lifetime. He also loved to spend quality time with his family and friends.
On Friday, June 2, 2023, Eddie DeWayne Mitchell, a loving father, transitioned to his heavenly home.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Eddie Levon Mitchell and Elouise (Bogan) Mitchell; brother, Ernest Lee Mitchell; niece, Tiffany Darden.

One Son, Jeremy Hargrave; Two daughters, April (Adrian) Adkins , and Ebony Mitchell (Kristina Turner, mother of the children); four grandchildren Ayden, Audriana, Alaina, and Adrian Ill; Siblings, Clifford (Bridget) Mitchell, Delores (Dennis) Allen, Sherry (Kenneth) Duirden, Tina Burns; and a wealth of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
