Funeral services for Edward Earl Brown,80, of Lufkin will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Edward Earl Brown was born on April 1, 1941, to Dorothy Whitaker Brown and Joe Brown in Alto, Texas.
Earl Graduated from the Alto High School in Alto, Texas, and continued his education at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. Earl had been employed as a laborer for many years. He continued to labor as a custodian at a local Church in Henderson, Texas.
Earl met and married Mildred Davis who later became his wife on August 15, 2007. He loved family friends and was affectionately known as and call, "Uncle Earl."
On May 2, 2021, Edward Earl Brown departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
