Elonda's smile was always radiant. She was one of those students that a teacher never forgets. Her giving, her compassions, her willingness to go the extra mile were evident even way back in middle school. In recent years, I always loved bumping into her in Lufkin or at the school because she would bring me up to date on everyone from our years together at Apple Springs.
What A great lady even though I had not seen Elonda in many years I STILL REMEMBER HER from our days AT APPLE SPRINGS when she was one of my students .MANY FOND MEMORIES OF THIS GREAT LADY SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.

Rashida and family: Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Lady Jurlene and Stephanie Sparks - TLOD/TTA
Good morning, can't sleep again with tears streaming Elonda Lee we miss you but God picks beautiful flowers also. She loved her daughter Rashida Freeman, grandchildren Jeremiah Collins, Jaiden Freeman and her heartbeat Niece MacKenzie Jones. Your siblings Christie Michelle Lee Morris, Johnita Spencer, Demetra Lee Tudmon, Karen Stewart, James Cutter Bill Lee and the rest of your family loves and miss you, I caught myself yesterday I had called you as we always talked several times a day. Londa loved her Church, The Pineywoods Riding Club, Nigton and Wakefield water supply, Nigton Cemetery and the Nigton Nite Riders she was such a Hard worker in all these organizations, with Londa it's was all Black and White no Gray, she put out 100% and you never had to wonder what she thought or what was on her Mind. My sister had so many projects in process but God said Elonda it's time to come Home and Rest. She was one of the first one's who started the Pineywoods organizations, she would Help anyone in need and no Job was to Big or hard for her to Tackle, one of her patients was Education she often Tutored children at her Home and pushed for the Scholarships for Graduates. MacKenzie told me Granny is a Star now but I can't find her I need a Telescope, I have something to tell her and we need to go to Apple Springs but I will find her she is a Superstar now she will be back, so I can sit in the her Big Chair and watch the Little Rascals and eat Blue Bell cookies and cream ice cream. We called her Captain save a Hoe because she always tired to do whatever she could for any one , she would always coordinate the Food for funerals, fix the Water for the water supply, work in the Cemetery and never say no or I can't. Alvin u have to learn to make your Omelets, Uncle Barney, Ms. Ruby Stewart and several more of us we have to find a new chauffer but she Loved it never Complained and the residents of Nigton have to call someone else because of the water not in order. Londa was a Pillar of the Nigton Community, she wore many Hats.. I could go on and on about My Sister, but if you knew Elonda Evett Lee you know what all she did and what all she was involved in. So now I must say we Love and Miss you, you have gotten your Wings Fly high , gone but never Forgotten take your rest my Sister. Elonda Lee. We Love You.
The Bryant Trailriders and the Bryant family wish to send the Lee family our deepest sympathy. Not only are we your trailride family but we also feel like your real family thanks to Azja and Niya. The passing of Londa really hit close to home. She was always the same whenever we saw her and she was always working doing something. She will truly be missed. Stay strong and remember that all of your help comes from the Lord.

I have never been one who never has anything to say but right now I am lost. I am lost because Aunt Londa was like another mother to me. She talked to me, she whooped me, she taught me and most of all she trained me. Aunt Londa was a selfless woman. She didn't mind helping others. Most of the time you could find her outside in her flower bed, with the horses or just sitting enjoying the breeze. I will miss seeing Aunt Londa but I know that now she can sit and watch down on me. One thing that she taught me was if I was going to do anything be the best. She always said that you have to take care of business and if you're going to half way do it then don't do it at all.
