Elrick Cole Holmes' Obituary
Services for Elrick Holmes, 40, of Lufkin will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Beaulah Baptist Church, 217 Warren St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Hemphill, TX.
Visitation is Thursday from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Elrick Holmes affectionately called "Orange," was born in San Augustine, Texas on August 22, 1978, to the parentage of Lynda and Elzie Holmes.
Elrick attended the Lufkin Independent School District and worked for several places which included: Nine to Nine Auto, Dixon Furniture Company, and Herman Power Tire Company.
On April 5, 2019, Elrick Holmes departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.

Malinda Holmes of Hemphill, Texas; Mother-in-law, Sylvia Moultrie of Lufkin, Texas; Father-in-law, Rev. Horace Moultrie of Lufkin, Texas; A wealth of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Elrick was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Lorader and Coleman Grace, and his Paternal Grandfather, Woodrow Wilson Holmes.
