Services for Elsie Dennis, 82, will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 a,m, in the First Baptist Church in Huntington, TX. Interment will follow in the Huntington Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Pilgram Home Baptist Church in Huntington on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m..
Elsie was born February 18, 1938 in Angelina County, Texas and died August 23, 2014 in Huntington. She was a homemaker and domestic worker. Elsie enjoyed gardening, cooking and
singing with various choirs in her community. Elsie was the "baby girl" of her family of eleven children.
Survivors: Her husband, Tommy Dennis, Brother, Smith Malone Jr., daughter , Kasandra "Gina"
Malone: grandson, Blake Malone (Lindsey) of Huntsville, TX., granddaughter, Kennedi Smith of Huntington, sister-in-law, Georgia Malone of Austin, TX.: brother-in-law, Eddie Ray Logan and Norman Barlow of Huntington, TX. and Willie James Dennis of Flint, Mich.
