Service for Mr. Elvonzo Patton, 65, of Lufkin will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in CenterPoint , TX. Mr. Patton was born January 20, 1957, in Lufkin, and died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Lufkin.
Elvonzo Patton was born January 20, 1957 to the late Levi Patton and Lamerle Hartsfield Patton in Nacogdoches, Texas. He departed this earth on July 6, 2022. He united with Wilson Chapel Church at an early age. Elvonzo is a 1975 graduate of Lufkin High School. He was married in holy matrimony to his wife Dorothy for over 20 years. He played in the Hot Wax band for several years. He was a guitarist and loved playing his harmonica. Elvonzo loved the Lord and encouraging others with his faith. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Elvonzo loved outdoors work and was a construction and plumber worker for many years.

Larkuista (Moses) Scott of Dallas, TX, LaKiedra Ballard of Lufkin, TX; Grandchildren:
Kris-Shabna, Rodrick Jr, Jamal, Christian, JaCorey, MaKayla, Samyia, Chelsey,
Whitney, and Keylyn; four great grandchildren. Sister: Delois Spencer of Lufkin, TX.
Uncles: Frank Patton, Los Angeles, CA; Johnny Patton, Dallas, TX; Aunts: Eula Faye Brooks, Oakland, CA and Dimple Faye Patton, Lancaster, TX; He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by: His parents, Levi and Lamerle Hartsfield Patton, wife: Dorothy Patton, brothers: Lamar Patton and Raythel Patton.
