Eneree Cranford Sr, was born on July 30, 1956, to the late AJ Rhodes and Zenobia
Thompson (Cranford) in Stephens, Texas. Early in life, he was blessed with his bonus father, the late Elree Thompson who married and formed a union with his mother Zenobia. As a young boy, he ventured his way to live with his Grandparents, The Late Leroy & Carrie Cranford. From a young boy to a young man, his grandparents made sure he knew and loved the Lord as he attended and became a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Stephens, Arkansas. He graduated from Camden High School in 1974. He attended Henderson University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where he participated in the ROTC program until he moved to Lufkin,
Texas to live with his late Uncle Leo Cranford. Upon moving to Lufkin, he obtained a job at Lufkin Industries and worked there for over 40 years until the facility closed its doors. Eneree held various positions within Lufkin Industries, obtained many certifications, and continued his journey which led to him becoming a Master Foundryman. Eneree took courses at Angelina College in Lufkin and received an Electrician Certification. Eneree was everyone's handyman and auto mechanic. There wasn't a job he couldn't handle. If he didn't know how to fix something, you would never know, he would just keep going until he figured it out. Anyone that knew Eneree knew of his love for his favorite football team, The Raiders. Although they didn't win many games, it didn't stop him from cheering them on with spirit in his voice and confidence in his heart. Eneree also gained a love for NASCAR racing and fast cars. He was able to attend NASCAR races with friends and family. Eneree was a great provider, protector, and teacher to his children and later his grandchildren. In his free time, he loved taking care of his dogs Rambo and Jasmine who only took orders from him and his close buddy Barbara Jo Paul. Although he was a man of few words, he was a man of great words. Eneree's willingness to help anyone in times of need is something all those who have encountered him will never forget.
