Eva M. Brown's Obituary
Funeral services for Eva Brown, 71, of Wells will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Well Chapel Baptist. Burial will follow in the Sweet Union Cemetery. Friday visitation will be from 5 p.m., till 7 p.m. Mrs. Brown was born on September 3, 1950, and died Friday, September 24, 2021, in Nacogdoches.
Mrs. Eva Mae Brown was born to the parentage of the late Ezra "Tom" and Mae Eva Thompson on September 3, 1950, in Lufkin, Texas.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She began playing the piano at the church at nine years of age and remained the Minister of Music until her health prevented her from continuing. As a faithful member of the Wells Chapel Baptist Church, in addition to serving in the capacity of the Music Ministry, Eva also participated in Mission and served as a Sunday School Teacher for the youth.
Over the years, Eva has played for numerous churches and singing groups and was a member of God's Preeminence, and loved them dearly. She was also very fond of her prayer group and looked forward to daily early morning prayer. Eva had a career in television and worked in the industry for twenty-six years. She is known for being a motivator, prayer warrior, and all-around encourager to all with a smile that brightens every room.
On September 24, 2021, Eva Mae Brown made her transition from this earthly life to travel to her Heavenly Home.

Her husband, Bobby Brown; Children, Vickie Brown and Sharon Goodwin (Christopher); Grandchildren, Christopher Canada "C.J.", Caleb Dove, Cameron Dove, Joseph Goodwin, and Jaidyn Goodwin; Siblings, Mary Louise Clark, Rosie Hunt, and Ezra Thompson, Jr.; Her church family; A host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, special children, God-children, and life-long friends.
Eva was preceded in death by Her brothers, Charles and Lewey Thompson.
