Ezra "Cow" Evans' Obituary
The funeral service for Ezra Evans "Cow", 74 of Lufkin, will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1619 Williams St,
Charles Evans, was born August 23, 1950 to the parentage of the late Zelma Ross and Jim Evans in Lufkin, Texas.
Charles enjoyed fishing, the rodeos, and dancing the Zydeco. He was the proud father of two daughters: Tracie and Alandra. Cow, as he was affectionately called, was a employee of Texas Foundry. He also retired from Southland Feed Store. He was loved so much by friends and family. He even was adopted by a local family: "The Berry Family." He was involved in everything that they did. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
On April 4, 2025, Ezra (Cow) Charles Evans, departed this earthly life in Lufkin, Texas.

Two loving daughters, Tracie Evans of Jasper, Texas, and Alandra (Nikki) Evans; A host of grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces; Three brothers, Donis Evans, Sr. (Tina) of Beaumont, Texas, Clarence Thompson (Joyce), Earl Evans of Leesville, Louisiana; Three sisters, Jimmie (Alice) Williams, Caroline of Lufkin, Texas, and Gwendolyn (Clifford) of Dallas, Texas.
Charles was preceded in death by: His parents, Zelma and Jim Evans; Brothers, Jimmie Evans, Sr., Reverend Henry Evans, J. Arthur Wofford, Jr., Alvin Wofford, Larry Evans and a sister, Mable Jackson.
