Ms. Flora was a memorable person, exemplifying God's handiwork. Just imagine examples of her life experiences these past 85 years, and the world she must have observed evolving before her eyes. Jesus promised us immortality in Heaven, but there is also a blessing of immortality on earth, in the memory of those who have shared her life and loved her, and especially for those to whom she was a mentor. Ms. Flora is a heroine to her family for the "Light" she shared with her smiles and laughter, despite facing the challenges of of illness and amputation. The legacy of a hero is a great example. Being the hero of your life story is quite a feat. As a woman who did not run away from responsibility or the ills of life, shouldn’t that person be a hero for the example passed on to those who witness such resolve? Inspiration grows from such a legacy. I believe she has left a wonderful legacy and inspiration to her family and friends... It was my honor to have known her for even such a short time!
