Services for Floyd Yancy Sr., 80, of Lufkin will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Missionary Baptist Church, 410 Scarbrough St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Read Obituary
Floyd and I were fellow Extension workers during our careers. He was one of my favorite County Extension Agent friends. We shared a love of East Texas and the work we did in helping the citizens with educational programs and activities. God bless all his family and many friends who survive him.
It was always a blessing to visit with Floyd. May God bless his soul.
Mr. Yancy was a great man. Working in as an Agricultural Extension Agent in Lufkin was his life. The a Substitute teacher for LISD for many years. My condolences to his twins, Floyd and Lloyd and the entire Yancy family.
