Graveside services for Fred Hurts,65, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 29,2020, at 11:00 a.m., in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation
will be Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m., in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Mr.Hurts was born on June 8, 1954, in Pineville, Louisiana died on February 21, 2020, in Lufkin Texas.
Fred Hurts was born on June 8, 1954, to the late Rosie Lee Garrett Hurts and Ivory Hurts in Pineville, Louisiana.
Fred attended Bunkie High School in Louisiana and later moved to Lufkin,
Texas, where he had been employed by Mercy Nissan. He was an avid Master Auto Repair Technician who loved repairing automobiles. He also loved to spend quality time with his family.
On February 21, 2020, Fred Hurts departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
