" I meet Fred Jr. approximately 10 years ago through his sister and brother-in-law Juanita and CB Rickmond here in Virginia. It was so easy to like him, honest, straightforward and to the point. His knowledge of cars and trucks fascinated me, going to swap meets and the rod shows was a learning experience for me. He would walk down the isles and point to parts and tell me what they came off and what they would fit, if it was a deal he usually bought it. He and Donna came to our house for Christmas dinner several years ago when he was here visiting his sister and I mentioned that if he ever built a 40 Ford
Pickup that I would love to have one. In 2012 he called and asked if I was serious and I said YES, in October of 2013 he delivered my pride and joy. I have since added a few items but every time I drive it now it will have so much more meaning for me, I'll be riding with Fred Jr. To Donna and the family you have my families deepest sympathy and love. I lost a great friend but God gained a number one rodder, but best of all he gained a good hearted man.
