Funeral services for Freedor Jones, 74, of Hemphill, TX. will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2025,Macedonia Baptist Church,150 Macedonia Ln Hemphill, TX 75948, Visitation will be from 5PM till 7PM. on Friday Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
Freedor Ann Grace-Jones, was born on July 17, 1951 to Coleman and Lorader Shelby Grace in Hemphill, Texas. She was the fourth of six children.
Freedor was a member ofthe Macedonia Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving in many capacities, in which she may have been needed. Including: vacation bible School and decorating the church for every occasion. She was a 1969 graduate from Hemphill High School. Freedor had a passion for caring for older people and cooking.
Life came to a close for Freedor on September 9, 2025 in San Augustine, Texas.
Freedor was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mae Helen Neal, Mary Francis Williams, and C.L. Grace.
Her three beautiful daughters, Cotina Jones-Gilyard, Jacenta Jones and Salynthia Jones; Her grandchildren, Shamika Singleton, Tommy Singleton (La'Quenna), De' Angela Singleton, Ja'Corey Jones, Janeshia Jones, Javon Jones, Dexter Jones; Four great-grandchildren; Two sisters, Lynda Grace-Holmes-Holmes (Elzie), Caron Stubblefield (Jerome); Two Bonus Children, Scottie Jones and Lena Jones; Special friend, Gloria Faye Holmes; A wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
