George Earl "Snook" Mason was born on August 25, 1952 to James Mason and Eldora Williams. He attended Lufkin Public Schools, Lufkin, Texas.
Snook; to everyone that knew him was a joyous person and enjoyed life, family and friends. If you would drive by 219 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. there was Snook sitting on the porch waiving at each horn blow.
Snook will be truly missed.

Salantia Hamilton, Oakland, California and 2 grandchildren; brother: Morris Dixon, Jr., Lufkin,
TX; sisters: Linda Lewis and Melissa Mason both of Lufkin, Texas. Host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by father: James Mason; mother: Eldora Williams; sister: Claudette Dixon and brother: Charles "Tang" Blake.
