Gregory Lomax's Obituary
Service for Gregory Lomax, 67 of Lufkin will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Gregory Lomax was born on May 14, 1956, to the late Willie B. and Ruby Lomax. Gregory graduated from Groveton High School. A few years later he relocated to Los Angeles California, and remained there until twelve years ago returning to Lufkin, Texas.
On May 16, 2023, Gregory Lomax departed this life in Houston, Texas. Survivors: A sister, Janice (Lomax) Colter; Brothers, Roy (Shelia) Lomax of Lufkin, Texas, James (Carolyn) Lomax of Humble, Texas; One son, Marquis Lomax of Compton, California; One daughter, Shenna Washington of Spring, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Javin Washington, (grandson) and granddaughter, Londyn Dixon both of Spring, Texas.
