Funeral service for Helen Simon,63 of Lufkin is will be held 2PM, Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden.
Helen Simon was born on November 23, 1962, to the parentage ofLibby B. Mark and Ellis O. Miller, in Deridder, Louisiana.
She gained her wings on December 15, 2025, in Lufkin, Texas, and went to walk with the angels. She was 63 years young.
Helen attended school in Diboll, Texas, and was a member of the Class of 1981. She worked for over 30 years in the Food Service Industry before her health began to decline. Helen was the proud mother of two sons, and a daughter, a stepmother to three boys and a daughter, and a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Glenda Perry, Peggy Miller of Diboll, Texas, and Latoya Y. Magee (Jonathan) of Harker Heights, Texas; Brothers: Cedric K. Miller of Diboll, Texas; Also left to cherish her memory her aunt, and uncles Lorraine Mark of Nigton, Texas, Eddie Mark of Deridder, Louisiana, and James Alford of Groveton, Texas; 21 grandchildren; A host of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis O. Miller, Libby Young (Curley Young, stepfather), Her brother, Carl D. Miller, and sister Regina Miles Miller.
