Funeral service for Henry James, 66 , of Lufkin will be held Monday , April 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Mortuary. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lufkin.
Henry James was born to the parentage of the late Eddie James Sr. and Fannie Mae James on July 20, 1957 in Lufkin, Texas. He attended Lufkin High School and graduated with the Class of 1976. He also was a Veteran of the United States Army, and had a Honorable Discharge in 1978. Henry resided in Houston, Texas until his demise. He was an individual who had a profound love for music.
On March 15, 2024, Henry James departed this life in Houston, Texas.
Left to cherish His memories: A wealth of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other extended family. Preceded in death by: His parents Eddie James Sr. and Fannie Mae James; All of his siblings, Missionary Ora Lee Morrison, Hercules Ross, Eddie James, Jr. And Lois James.
