Services for Idella Ballard, 69, of Lufkin, TX.,will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
On April 13, 2025, our Lord and savior called His angel home to rest. She was born on August 23, 1955 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Bessie M. Crain and Joel Ballard.
She attended Lufkin High School in Lufkin, Texas. As a youth, she attended Memorial CME Chapel in the Cedar Grove Community. Idella gave birth to four beautiful Children, Kyran Ballard, LaTricia Carrathers, Vakia Ballard-Taylor, and Saleana Smith. She enjoyed Spending time with her family, cooking, and watching movies. While we will miss her deeply, we know: "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." I l Corinthians 5:8

Grandchildren: Shebrea Ballard, Tyler Ballard, Kimbria Ballard, Moriah Adams, Treston Ballard, Charlissa Ballard, Carrington Mack, Darius Ballard, Averyannah Ballard and Alexis Ballard. Nieces: Kimberly Crain, Larkuista Scott, Mushania Scott, Linda Scott, and Crystal Crain. Nephews: Andre Crain, and Adrin Ballard
