Master Olford Was A Great Friend And Mentor All Around
On the news of the passing of the amaZing incomparable Master JD Olford. The world will never be the same without him. He has been so instrumental in our lives. As a martial artist he showed me that success was the ONLY option in life. Period. Without him there would be no Marshalls ATA...he started the first ATA school in Texas. He was a true legend. As I tearfully write this post I am grateful for the life that he lived and will never forget the imprint that he left on my life. I am happy he is with the Lord and I have peace in knowing that he is no longer in pain. We love you. And we thank you for being the MASTER that you forever will be.

Master Olford is one of my mentors, as he is to many, many others. He is the true definition of a warrior and a leader. He's always there for us and always wants the best for us.
I'm using the present tense because I totally agree with Sir Terry Pratchett, who wrote this: "No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away." Master Olford's ripples will go on and on.
Thank you for everything, sir.
