Jacqueline Elaine Davis' Obituary
Funeral services for Jacqueline Elaine Davis,are scheduled for Saturday December 28,2019 at 11:00 a.m.,at First Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday December 27,2019, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel from 5 p.m., til 7 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Jacqueline Elaine Davis, was born on August 2, 1952 to E.L. and Exie Mae Benton Parks.
She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the New Hope
Missionary Baptist Church in Kennard Texas. Jacqueline was raised in Kennard, Texas and attended the Kennard Public School District. She relocated to Lufkin, Texas where she met and married Willie Lee Davis. She later became a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor W.R. Ricks.
Elaine began her employment as a Healthcare Worker at Woodland Heights Hospital for several years. At the time her health failed, she was employed by Park Wood Nursing Home Rehabilitation Center. Her beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all that knew her, especially all the children. She loved being surrounded by her kids and would call all of them her children it did not matter whose kids they were.
On December 22, 2019, life came to a close for Jacqueline Elaine Davis in Lufkin, Texas.
Survivors: A daughter, Felecia Williams (Frank); Two grandchildren, Kambria Parks, Isaiah Williams; Great-grandchild, Peyton Perkins; Sisters, Evelyn Beasley (Clyde) and Sharon Richard; Aunt, Marie Smith; Uncles, Cleo Parks (Dorsey) and Reverend Jimmie Parks (Theora); Her stepchildren, Anthony Davis, Karsandra Davis, Crystal Davis and Tasha Davis; A wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by: Her parents, E.L. Parks and Exie Mae Parks; Three brothers, Garyen, Benny and Derick Parks; A sister, Darlene Harton and her grandparents
